YesOption is a binary options broker based in Seychelles that started offering services to traders in 2013. The site is only available in two languages, English and Arabic, but this appears to be the end of its limitations. The features are phenomenal; there is an incredible quantity of trading tools and learning materials available to traders at all account levels, and a lot of great free services. Fees are limited, and there are numerous assets to trade. YesOption is owned by Alpha System Developments LTD. The company does not appear to be regulated, but they do have a general business license to operate in Seychelles, #134881, so there is some oversight. Let’s explore this feature-rich broker in-depth.

Opening Your YesOption Account

YesOption is open to traders in the USA and around the world, and appears to be one of the more exciting brokers providing services to traders in America. You can deposit using your credit or debit card, wire transfer, Neteller, Ukash, Western Union, QIWI, WebMoney, or CashU account. Deposit currencies include US Dollar, British Pound, Euro, or Japanese Yen. The minimum deposit is $250. While this is a little higher than you may be used to seeing (many brokers offer a minimum deposit of $100-200), it is reasonable in light of the fact that the minimum trade size is $25.

While no demo account is mentioned on the website itself, traders reviewing YesOption say that a practice account is available if you contact customer service and ask. If you have registered without depositing money, you get the demo account for 48 hours. If you do deposit, you get to keep using it as long as you need it until you are ready to trade live. This is an excellent feature.

Only a couple of fees and limitations are mentioned on the site. If you use wire transfer, there is a minimum withdrawal threshold of $100 or equivalent. Otherwise, there are no minimums, which is outstandingly flexible. There is an inactivity fee if you do not log into your account for six months. Each month, you lose 10% of your account balance. This is easy to prevent, though, and should never happen if you are paying attention, especially since you can always withdraw your entire balance, should you choose, no matter how little you have in your account.

Trading on YesOption

YesOption is powered by TechFinancials. While I have seen TechFinancials on a number of binary options sites, there is something particularly nice about the presentation of the platform on this site. It is particularly sleek looking and easy to read with the colors on the site. You can navigate between the different types of trades available (High/Low, Boundary, One Touch and Short Term) quickly and easily, and trade more than 106 assets. Assets include stocks, indices, currencies, and commodities. Boundary trading is a great inclusion. A lot of binary options sites are lacking this type of trade, and it is wonderful for making money in flat markets.

The minimum trade size of $25 may be a bit steep for some beginners, but it is not unreasonable. The maximum trade size is set at $2,500. While you are trading, if you have any questions, you will find the website easy to navigate and comprehensive. Answers to most of your questions are readily available without having to talk to an agent. You cannot yet trade on your mobile device, but there is a section of the site that talks about mobile trading, so that indicates this feature is on the way. So check back in the near future to see if apps are available for Android and iOS.

A Wealth of Resources at Your Fingertips

Beyond the professional presentation of the website and platform, the most exciting thing about YesOption is its resources for traders. There really is a tremendous selection of tools, more than I have seen on any other binary options trading site. Along with early closure and rollover, you get daily news, an economic calendar, a trader heat map, daily support and resistance, a Fibonacci calculator, pivot calculator, Forex deal size calculator (FX trading used to be offered on the same site; I did not see it when I wrote this review, but they may be moving things around), and more.

Trading signals are offered to Platinum account holders. Standard and Gold account holders get a two week free trial for the trading signals, which is an excellent little extra. Platinum account holders get free unlimited 1-on-1 coaching as well. Likewise, Standard and Gold account holders get limited coaching sessions for free.

On top of all of this, traders get access to a comprehensive FAQ, a glossary, how-to pages, a trader manual for download, an interactive education e-book, and a set of video tutorials. That is a lot to study without even having to leave the site, and this is a great start in any new trader’s education.

The Biggest Drawback

The biggest drawback was the absence of customer service on a weekday during normal business hours. You can theoretically reach customer service at YesOption via live chat, telephone, email, or paper mail. When I checked the live chat desk, however, no agent was available to respond, and I was given a form to fill in. This was a bit of a letdown after all the other strong features on the site.

Conclusion: Worth Checking Out

YesOption is not without its faults. Hopefully the absentee live chat agent was a one-off, but I would definitely recommend making sure you talk to customer service before opening an account. Aside from that, there is a lot to recommend this site. YesOption has reasonable terms of service, great bonuses (up to 100% on $5,000+), a beautiful trading platform, and a wealth of resources. They provide free signals and coaching at the top level, and give account holders at lower levels a free trial to see if they might want to consider an upgrade. For a broker offering services in the USA in particular, YesOption seems pretty exciting.
