CVCoption is a binary options company that started up in 2014 and is operated by UK-based O.R.L. Marketing Limited. At the time of this review, there is very little information available on CVCoption outside the company’s own website. The few reviews I did find were clearly written by affiliates with a vested interest. Even with the lack of information, though, it is easy to dismiss CVCoption. Their website has a lot of informational gaps, and there are problems with registration.

To top it off, CVCoption appears to be somewhat misleading. A registration number is listed, but it appears to be a generic business registration number and not a CySEC license. On one page, CVCoption informs traders that binary options trading has been regulated by CySEC since 2012. This is clearly meant to be reassuring, but the company does not say that this site is regulated, which makes it rather pointless.

Broken Registration Form

When you go to register at CVCoption, you are asked for some very basic information about where you are located and which account currency you would like (US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds). No matter what country you put in, however, the form returns “country blocked.” This is true not only for the USA, but also countries where binary options trading is quite widespread like the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates. The site is available in Arabic, and Islamic accounts are offered, so the UAE and Saudi Arabia being blocked seems indicative of a technical error. Not a single country I tried inputting worked.

Unable to get past the registration screen, that limited the information I was able to discover about account types. It does appear that several tiers of accounts are offered however, and match bonuses of up to 50% are available to new customers. The minimum deposit amount is £500 or equivalent. That may seem high, with most companies accepting minimum deposits of around £200, but £500 is actually a smarter bankroll to start with for reasons of money management. And actually, with the minimum investment amount on the platform (more on that in just a bit), $500 would be far from adequate if you did not want to blow your bankroll within a handful of trades.

Credit or debit card or wire transfer are the only ways to deposit. There is a £100 minimum withdrawal threshold; no fees are mentioned. This threshold combined with the minimum investment amount makes it even more likely you will lose all your money.

If you were to get through the registration screen somehow, you would be able to start trading. CVCoption offers the usual abundance of currencies, stocks, indices, and commodities, 58 in all. Possibly the only exciting feature of this website is how many different trade types are available. Customers can trade High/Low options, One Touch options, Ladder options, Pairs, Short Term options (30 to 120 seconds), and Long-Term options (many of them months in duration).

Resources and Customer Service

Daily market reviews appear to be the only trade tool available. Educational resources include basic how-to pages, eBooks, articles, videos, and courses. Most of those resources are only available to logged-in account holders who have already registered on the site. There is no way to preview them before you register.

Naturally I had a lot of questions while I was researching CVCoption, and I hoped that customer service could help me out. Contact is available via telephone, email, paper mail, and apparently, live chat. The live chat desk was unstaffed during standard market hours on a weekday, however, with only a “Leave a message” prompt available. While this is common, it is also disappointing, especially since staffed help desks are actually becoming more common.

Overall, there are very few reasons to recommend trading with CVCoption. Some of the company’s problems may resolve themselves with time and effort. The site registration errors may be the result of the company still working on their site. But other problems are not going to be resolved by a good site administrator.

  1. Kevin Young reviewed CVCoption

Hello, my name is Kevin and I’m one of the senior associates at CVCoption.

When I read your article two things were immediately clear:

    1) Your article was written when CVCoption was under construction, therefore you had some issues with registration and other content that wasn’t available at that time.

    2) Your article completely missed our vision, and since you missed it you are referring to minimum investments or minimum transactions which are anyway very very low. As I’m sure that you know, in the capital market, a capital is needed in order to generate revenue out of it, and with a small capital as you mentioned, traders tend to over-trade and to expose their account to unnecessary risks. With those small investments there is a higher chance to have a negative trading experience.

Our vision is providing a successful and profitable trading experience for all of our traders and in order to do a trader needs to bring as much capital as possible. Even with $ 500 it’s extremely difficult to build a capital, but we set this amount as a minimum for traders that would like to test our services. We don’t have different account packages since all of our traders, big or small, receive the highest professional level of assistance from our mentors.

We are really helping our traders make continuous long-term profits.

Although we have established CVCoption in 2014, our founders have a total experience of more than 50 years (in stocks, Forex, and options) and know exactly how to assist our traders and how to guide our trading mentors which are in direct contact with them.

I recommend the article author to go through CVCoption once again and try to see things from more than one point of view that will demonstrate a higher level of experience and knowledge in the trading world.

    Best Regards,

    Kevin Young,
    Senior Associate, CVCoption

Hey I deposited 250 euro into this brokerage, and then ten days later, they sent me the money. I don’t know why! But I like them.

      • Michael Bates reviewed CVCoption

How did you get $250 after ten days. I was told you have to spend thirty times your deposit to get any money back!

Hello, I traded with this broker, got good support and interesting assets to trade on. The trading coach that guided me gave me a few good signals to make me a 20% profit during 1 month period, showed me professionalism. I started with 5K, and within 1 month i was at 6k, and now I plan on investing 20k.

    • Sam M reviewed CVCoption

Obviously the first review is outdated, as the matter is much different now. The minimum investment is $5, and you can deposit as little as $250. You have a wide variety of different platforms to choose from, including my favourite short term trading, which has also 30, 60 and 120 seconds. The ladder also gives you the profit of up to 1175% profit.
Excellent service from my account manager, Danny.

    Wow

    • Kristin reviewed CVCoption

Wow is right, I had a pretty excellent experience with this company. I started by depositing $250, then I saw how the profits kept coming in. My personal trading coach gave me a few tips on how to maintain it and it reached up to about $600 in about a week .
I was a bit greedy, you’d say, so I took the risk and deposited another $2,000, and started placing more risky trades. In about 4 weeks I was able to withdraw $1,000 in profits. So then I kept on going and going, and so far I’m making my way!

      • Matthew reviewed CVCoption

yes cvcoption have a very good support team, and their financial team has helped my account grow. I believe it’s up to traders to be responsible, and learn to trade correctly before blindly risking their funds. I found cvcoption to take me on a very professional educational and exciting journey!

This so called cvcoption is absolute fraud. They scam prospective trader to part with deposition, you never get back rather they ask you to deposit more to trade for you as a personal broker,,, be alert,,, it’s 100% scam. If you fall pray, consider your money gone.

    • Unknown reviewed CVCoption

My thing is Emmanuel how would you know if they are 100% scam? Do you have any proof and can you elaborate why they are a scam?

      • Patricia reviewed CVCoption

Once they lost my $1000 in less that two weeks I research how they operate. Mind you once my money was gone NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL.
This is on the FBI website:
Market Manipulation or “Pump and Dump” Fraud

This scheme—commonly referred to as a “pump and dump”—creates artificial buying pressure for a targeted security, generally a low-trading volume issuer in the over-the-counter securities market largely controlled by the fraud perpetrators. This artificially increased trading volume has the effect of artificially increasing the price of the targeted security (i.e., the “pump”), which is rapidly sold off into the inflated market for the security by the fraud perpetrators (i.e., the “dump”); resulting in illicit gains to the perpetrators and losses to innocent third party investors. Typically, the increased trading volume is generated by inducing unwitting investors to purchase shares of the targeted security through false or deceptive sales practices and/or public information releases.

A modern variation on this scheme involves largely foreign-based computer criminals gaining unauthorized access to the online brokerage accounts of unsuspecting victims in the United States. These victim accounts are then utilized to engage in coordinated online purchases of the targeted security to affect the pump portion of a manipulation, while the fraud perpetrators sell their pre-existing holdings in the targeted security into the inflated market to complete the dump.

Tips for Avoiding Market Manipulation Fraud:

        Don’t believe the hype.
Find out where the stock trades.
        Independently verify claims.
        Research the opportunity.
        Beware of high-pressure pitches.
        Always be skeptical.

          My CVCoption Account

I had a difficulty with my account they claimed I must submit documents which I did but when asked for a verification of my residence I explained that I get no rent receipts or a utility bill the chat agent OK me that a vehicle registration would be accepted when I submitted this document I was still where my account was still pending. All my bills and business mail are taken at my P.O. Box. A solution must be in consideration since your chat agent gave me the OK to submit my documents and all was done with no solution.

I had never heard of CVCoption until they removed money from my checking account in the U.S. without my permission. My bank reimbursed me and is still in the process of determining how CVCoption gained access to my account. Looks like they somehow got my debit card information. Anyone company who operates in this fashion is engaging in criminal activity.

This is the absolute worst company i have ever dealt with. First of all they are Liars and all they do is Lie Lie Lie!!!!! The brokers are liars & the staff are liars too. They guarantee profits then do not deliver them. They take your money and essentially steal it because they give you nothing in return and do not give refunds. When you try to call customer service they hang up on you or have you waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour on hold. Then they ask you to deposit $1,000.00 usd to 10,000.00 usd more after they already stole your money. Now if you are foolish enough to give these crooks your hard earned money you might as well kiss it goodbye. It is a shame in our day and age how many unscrupuolous, scandalous, shady & evil companies are in exsistence. Well folks this company is one of them. Nobody wants to be lied to, nobody wants to be decieved, frauded, scammed or robbed. This is what they are doing to good innocent people. I am a victim of there malicious operation. Please be advised and aware this is one headache you do not want to deal with. If you want to throw your money into the garbage then you might as well donate to a positve charity or an effort within your own community. If you would like to trade options then try C T Options. They will at least not lie to you, provide full disclosure, provide training and a broker. There minimum deposit is $250.00 usd and so far I have had good experiences with there customer service. They even offer a trila account were you can trade $5,000.00 before you deposit any of your own hard earned money. This is a transparent regulated legitimate company. They have a user friendly website and app. Please never deal with CVC Options again for the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • ersh reviewed CVCoption

CT are rude potty mouths. the 5000 they let you trade with becomes a locked in bonus once you deposit. then you must turn over 30 times the 5000 plus the deposit. so if you deposit 1000 the it will be 30 times 6000. = 180000. when a brocker starts using the F word in normal conversation, stay away

  8. Lisala reviewed CVCoption

I give CVC Option a 6 because I’ve only been with it for less than a month, but my experience with the company was completely different than what the author of this review experienced. It was super easy to register. I read in writing and was told over the phone my deposit amount is mine and I can request to withdraw at any time, withdrawals occur within 7-10 days. They do ask you to upgrade; I said no, they said OK, and in less than a month I have made a small profit with no effort. I did get in on a 50% off deal, or I would not have joined, but for $250 I cannot say that this service is a bad investment.

  9. Bob reviewed CVCoption

I rated CVC Option 1/10 because a score was necessary:
Please stay away from CVC OPTION, they are a bunch of thieves. I traded with this organization for about nine weeks. They started out giving me wining trades; afterwards, they would tell me to send in two, five, three, or five thousand dollars more for trading equity. When my account reached $10 thousand, the traders asked me if I could raise $10 thousand more. The trades were excellent so I was encouraged to continue.

On that weekend, I received an early-morning call from a person, David Castillo, telling me he was with CVC and I had to send a portion of the money, by Dollar Express or Western Union, to a José Rafael Peralta Taveras. Thank God, Dollar Express refused to send the funds. I was then directed to an alternative individual, who would also furnish winning trades, a Ney Siris Valdez, in addition, residing in the Dominican Republic; I was told that these individuals would send us the details concerning upcoming trades that would be profitable.

This running back and forth trying to send the funds took an entire day. That afternoon, I contacted CVC OPTION; I was advised that this was a scam. By way of a phone conversation, one of the evening traders let me know that this wasn’t the first time these scams had occurred at CVC. When I tried to contact someone in authority, two of the evening traders, outside the team with whom I worked, told me they could do nothing. One asked me if I had contacted my local authorities. (This is the point; most of these binary options’ trading organizations are not regulated; therefore, there is no legal backing for the unsuspecting trader. Be careful with these unregulated organizations because they can do whatever to want and the majority of their traders are masters at cheating the public.)

After contacting the office at CVC and realized I was in a helpless state, it was clear; I realized that my CVC trading team had constructed this entire scam with others outside the organization. Indeed, the scam was initiated by my own traders. The main trader phoned me, Ronald Nikerson said, “You should have sent the entire amount, as you were told, to the Dominican Republic.” Then his supervisor, Nick Donavon, called me as well and said, “Oh yes; Alex Wilford was your trader; you should have done what he suggested and sent the money to the Dominican Republic.” This is when I realized the entire scenario was a scam; right from my traders at CVC Option and the entire organization was suspect, and I had no legal authority to back me up. At once put in a request for a refund of my funds. Even though my trading equity totaled $49,544, I would lose 29, 54I, but I didn’t care. I immediately placed a withdrawal request for $17,000 (I was told this was all that was the actual balance. In the meantime, I received a call from David Nikerson telling me he saw the withdrawal request, and wanted to give it another try. He would bring my account up to $50,000 with one more trading session. I told him I knew he would bring me down to zero, but at this point I doubted they would return my funds anyway. I followed his five trades, and just as suspected; they all failed; each at $5,000. My account was now reduced to $14,000. I asked how much I could withdraw and close the account. I was informed that the account bonuses totaled $17, 000; therefore, my real balance was currently $0. STAY AWAY FROM CVC OPTION, AND BE CAREFUL OF ANY UNREGULATED BINARY OPTIONS ORGANIZATION.

My name is Kevin Young and I am one of the executives of CVCoption.

Robert, I am sorry to hear about your experience, it is important for me to explain that this case has been handled.

As CVCoption has grown in the past year, it has expanded it’s cooperation and received traffic from several third party affiliates.

Unfortunately we had a case where one of the affiliates was illegally hacked into from an outside source, and our database was exposed.

This outsider has hence made fraudulent calls and emails to our clients requesting a wire transfer to their own personal banking account and to western union.

We have therefore taken the necessary procedures to make sure that our database is updated and securely encoded, so that even the most experienced hackers will not have access to it.

In addition we sent out a message to all our clients to beware of anyone claiming to be CVCoption, calling or emailing from an unidentified number or email addresses other than the ones listed on our website at cvcoption.com. Also to not make any transfer to any bank account other than the one listed on our website.

The people responsible for committing the data theft and fraudulent criminal activity have been transferred to authorities and are under police investigation in order to make sure all funds that were sent to them illegally from our clients shall be returned immediately.

We are operating from the United Kingdom, and continuing to give CVCoption traders the support and the professional service they deserve.
      Hope this clears any misunderstandings.

Greeting Mr. Kevin Young, The purpose of my response to your response to Bob was heart felt. I see your reply was maid in January 2015. I also fell into the scrupulous activities of fraud with CVCoptions brokers. I get a call at least once a week with said-to-be someone representing CVCoptions as attorneys. They always request for attorneys fees up front in order for me to received the existing money in my CVCoption account that I haven’t been able to access for over 90+ days. If you’re helping CVCoption account victims with inaccessible to their account then I respectfully request you contact me at the email listed. Hello David
I too get calls from people purporting to be able to recover my funds from CVCOptions every few months since I lost a huge amount in 2o15/16 There seems to be a secondary market /tier to this fraudulent company where staff members turn on themselves, admit fraud and then tell you they can recover funds for you. Its been a nightmare for a long time now. I live in NZ and therefore do not have ready access to FBI or US authorities and in any case these people operate out of Costa Rica, Dominican Republic etc and not Wall St as they claim.

You think you are having problems. LOL. I have been trying to withdraw the original deposit since 5 December 2014, today is 27 December 2014 and I still have not received the original deposit much less the gains. Now they have suspended my account even after I have sent in all documents requested, TWICE!!!!

I made the minimum deposit of $250 ran it up to $1400 lost $400 and stopped trading. requested the original deposit
be withdrawn still have not seen it. Now they have suspended my account and I can not access it. Never had a broker assigned to me did all the trading myself and never took a bonus. If I do not get this money back you can actually call them thieves and to trade with them is simply ridiculous

Anyone else have any similar problems with CVCoptions?
    Are they a scam?
If they are then what can be done about recovering said funds?

Excellent broker, you can tell they have experience in the market, and they know what they’re doing. My personal trading coach was very patient with me, teaching me, and even re-explaining things i didn’t initially understand. All in all, I made a nice profit using their services, and was able to withdraw without any hassles! I recommend this broker to anyone that is looking to invest in binary options!

CVCoption is quite the professional brokerage. I’ve been searching for a good honest and reliable binary options platform for a while (after being scammed in the past) and CVCoption has given be great service, by providing great customer support and high knowledge of the market. I started out with a small account ($500), and then worked my way up by investing 30K , and now my portfolio has nearly doubled! Give them a try, you won’t be sorry.

  13. Patricia reviewed CVCoption

First I was told that I only needed to invest $250. Which I soon found out in order to have a “so called broker” help me manage my funds I needed to have $1000.00. Like a real dimwit I borrowed the money and deposited it. My money was lost leaving me about $175.00. I kept getting the run around, no one calling back etc. Then I get a call and the gentleman said my broker was sent home because he mishandled my funds and he was going to help me regain my loss. Guess what? I now have $7 left and NO ONE WILL TALK TO ME. I have written them, called them, threatened them with sending my complaint to several federal agencies. NO RESPONSE. That is when I researched the FBI site for investment scams. “Pump and dump” is their exact modus operandi.

Let me tell you what is going on.
I opened an account with guaranteed millionaire with $250.
Guaranteed millionaire / Stan Lutz opened an account with CVCoption.
I made profit, not the robots, because the robots were losing all the money.
The robots had me down to my last $40 so I took over the trading
I ran up the money to $1400 ( not the robots )
I lost $400 so I tried to withdraw the $1000
they only returned $250 after one month of trying to recover the money
at the same time they turned the robots off
The other $750 they won’t give because they are claiming I did not open an account.
They want me to deposit $1000 to recover the $750.
Do the math there is something wrong.
If any money was made by the robots, I or anyone would not be able to recover the money because they would have claimed to not have opened an account.
Guaranteed Millionaire / Stan Lutz and the options groups associated with him, like CVCoption are scamming people of their hard earned cash
Nothing Guaranteed Millionaire ( Stan Lutz ) says is true. ( Guaranteed Millionaire / Stan Lutz ) are receiving a substantial pay from these option houses like CVCoptions to bring individuals in and lose their hard earned cash.
There should be a stop put to all this and a Class Action Suit should be filed
I am going to pursue this matter until I get results

At no time did I speak with any CVCoption representatives before Stan Lutz opened the account. If they are letting those accounts be opened with $250 I do not see why now they require an account to be opened with $1000. In order for me to get the $750 I made.

Careful everyone this place is a major SCAM.

Hi Mr Young I have invested with CVCoptions now since December and for a while now I have been trying to withdraw my initial investment and keep getting canceled every time I make a request. Right now all I want to do is withdraw my investment and close my account. I used to have a broker call me daily and we place trades and won like the first two weeks of trading and later on lost every trade which made me understood the won trades were to entice me to stay and I want to believe all the won trades were fake. Because they knowhow to get into your account and manipulate all those figures to make you feel as though you won. I have been calling and no one has answered my calls. Its really frustrating to think that you could make some profits and you end up worst than you started. I guess some people have luck and some like me are not so lucky. 18. Christopher reviewed CVCoption

CVC Option gets a score of 1 out of 10 from me.

Here’s my brief story in a nutshell:
    • I deposited $250 using a “free” robot service that reportedly made huge profits. However, this robot lost all of my money in one week

    • A senior broker called me, David Brooks telling me that he had seen my account and that I lost my money but could help me. He stated that working with a broker is the only real way to make huge profits.

    • He convinced me to deposit $5,000 in my account and promised me that he would make it back in less than a month.

    • He then tried to convince me to deposit $5,000 so that I can take advantage of the ‘golden trades.’

    • I was only able to deposit $2,000 more. And I did.

    • David Brooks gave me a bonus of $7,000 plus the $250 back,

    • The first few trades didn’t go so well and then we won a few (I placed trades based off what he told me to do).

    • Then I couldn’t contact him for days all of a sudden.

    • When I contacted him we placed more trades and the account continued to drop.

    • I get calls from other brokers telling me that David isn’t doing a good job and I they have my account now. But the thing is, I would have to deposit more money for my account to switch (money I didn’t have).

    • Finally, David Brooks stopped calling and answering my calls.

    • He promised me profits but I received poor service.

    • I complained to CVC Option but no one addressed my concern.

    • I contacted my credit card company and ended up back-charging the money to my credit card. My credit card company won the dispute for me.

This was my experience. Therefore, make up your minds for yourselves. IF ANYONE PROMISES YOU ANYTHING, GET IT IN WRITING. Never take someone’s word over the phone. It may sound good, but get it in writing. Protect Yourself.

I first saw a add on line for cvcoptions it sounded like they knew how to make money in the stock market. they told me all I needed to get started was $250.00. but after I opened a account I was told that they needed more money in order to start trading for me, and wanted $5000.00. I told them if I had known that I would not never sent the $250.00. they still wanted to see if I would do it. after I hung up i received a text from my bank telling me someone tried to wire $5000.00 out of my account. I’ve been trying to contact them a get my $250.00 back but no one will ever answer the phone. and when I TRY TO GET IT ON LINE THE PAPER WORK NEVER GOES TO COMPLETION. If anyone can help me with this let me know. I rate this a 1/2
